| Interests | I'm a full time faculty member at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. When I'm not teaching, I'm writing, and when I'm not writing, I'm traveling, preferably with my family. I'm also a specialist in general education, course design, and faculty development. A one-year Fulbright in Hong Kong in 2009-2010 gave me the opportunity to combine these interests. The result is a pair of books: Hong Konged, a nonfiction travel memoir published by Adams Media (July, 2012), and General Education Essentials, a faculty guide to trends in gen ed (AAC&U Jossey-Bass/Wiley, May 2012). |
