Introduction	I'm Alyssa Pfannenstiel and I myself have suffered a severe concussion as an athlete. My goal is to support and further educate concussed athletes and their families. As a Girl Scout, I took on this project as my Gold Award. The Gold Award "represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. Open only to girls in high school, this prestigious award challenges you to change the world." I hope I can help change the perception of situations like concussions that leave individuals struggling to find support in situations that are not so obvious to the visible eye! :)
