| Introduction | I'm a Northern Virginia (NOVA) native who got out, then got sucked back in. After living around the world I somehow find myself a single in a family town, a rootless nomad trapped in a soulless stretch of highways, strip malls, and McMansions. Yet, I've also managed to create a lovely home, and my family is here. I've got some great friends and a job I like that challenges me. So, being stuck in this political suburb with all the headaches of a big city and virtually none of the amenities, I had to do something to stay positive and begin to create a fabulous life for myself. Prozac helped, but it wasn't enough. So now, medicated and no longer fantasizing about blowing myself up in beltway traffic, I fill my days and nights seeking out--and having fall right into my lap--some seriously cool stuff!
