IntroductionI was born and raised in Garden Grove California. My mother is Costa Rican and my father is Mexican American, born in Las Cruces New Mexico. I am an English teacher and student advocate. I completed my undergraduate work at Chapman University in Spanish Literature and earned my Master's Degree in English at California State University, Fullerton.
