| Introduction | Hi, my name is Katie; I live in Melbourne, which is a fantastic city in the state of Victoria in Australia. I am originally from Leeds in the UK. I emigrated to Australia in 2004 with my lovely husband and our 3 children. I’ve been crafting on and off for a few years trying out different things. In 2009 I developed High Blood Pressure and decided I needed a hobby to make me sit down, stop running around and ensure I relaxed, this is when I took my first baby steps into the wonderful world of scrapbooking, papercrafting and card making, I was completely hooked! My passion has since grown literally from a shoebox, to a large bag, Currently a shelving unit in the dining room, has become my very own craft space. I love to share with my friends, family and anyone who enjoys crafting. We try to get together every month and our group is growing all the time. At the beginning of 2012, I joined Stampin’ Up! as an Independent Demonstrator and I’ve made some wonderful friends, and enjoyed their fantastic products too, of course! | Interests | All my spare time is taken up with card making and paper crafting – I just love it! To me it’s like therapy. It makes me feel good and I get so much enjoyment from crafting that it feels like the best thing in the world. Creativity is good for the soul and can brighten even the dullest of days. I also love my two Cocker Spaniel Dogs who are very much part of the family! |
