IntroductionPhoto Note: Holding my beautiful, precious, adorable, amazing pseudo-niece, Zoë, in Chicago (April 2011)
I'm a teacher. I laugh at myself a lot. I edit everything I read (unintentionally). I believe in life-long learning, so I now hold four degrees. I don't believe "liberal" is a bad word anymore than I believe "conservative" attaches itself to morality. I read the news with a fervor. I would rather cook a great meal than go out to eat, yet I hate to shop for groceries. I love coffee. I could listen to music 24/7.

Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:

"Here’s to the crazy ones. The rebels. The troublemakers. The ones who see things differently. While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." (Apple modified Ad)
