| Introduction | I Love spending quality time with family & friends. I garden every day, tending to countless flowers, and are lucky enough to have the weather to keep a vegi & herb garden 6-9 monthes a year. I love waking to the sounds of the birds singing, so I plant wild berries for them & provide water sources for drinking & bathing ..there's nothing like walking out into your own little backyard paradise of birds & butterflys enjoying your trees & flowers, lizards sunning themselves, feasting on the garden pests, & being able to just walk out & pick your own fresh vegi's & herbs for cooking! I love having friends over to try new recipes & am lucky enough to have several friends that are extremely good cooks & have inspired me to dive head first into the craft, (I am happily drowning in it). We buy a lamb, a half-pig & a quarter steer from 4-H every year. There's nothing like hand raised organic meat, that Ben the Butcher cuts to my exact choosing! Its worth looking into ya'll ..feeds a hungry family of 5(with 3 teen athletes)for a year for less $$ than if bought at the grocery store ...& taste is not comparable! |

| Favorite books | The lost Symbol is wonderful, but anything Dan Brown writes is. Anne Rice is my guily pleasure & I love reading about history, biology, philoshophy, science, travel...you get the picture. "To live in a world without becoming aware of the meaning is like wandering about in a great library without touching the books". If you are open-minded check out Ken Careys Return of the Bird Tribes; it is deep felt & beautifully written..I keep it next to my Bible because of it's beautiful spiritual teachings. |
