| Introduction | Manish Thakur has lived and worked in New York, London and Hong Kong for nearly 20 years as an investment banker, principal investor and Chief Financial Officer. Manish’s clients have ranged from as far afield as Indonesia, India, Thailand, Russia, Mexico, Hong Kong, Britain and the United States. He was also a co-founder of an India-focused investment firm. During this time, he has gained a unique insight into emerging markets and the profound political and economic changes now occurring. Manish now spends much of his time researching and analyzing global political developments in his current position as National Security Coordinator for a public policy advocacy group on Capitol Hill. Drawing on this background in both finance and political analysis, Manish is currently working on a book researching major political trends and risks that will impact strategy for both Washington and Wall Street. |
