| Introduction | I have been doodling since I was in elementary school. My teachers thought I was a fantastic note taker because I was always writing, but none discovered what I was really doing as I always sat at the back of class. In college I re-wrote my notes because they were chaotically surrounded by a variety of doodles (unfortunately I threw them all away after re-writing the notes). After I graduated and had been teaching for a few years, my Mom gave me a Zendoodle book - what a surprise! I discovered I wasn't alone in my compulsive doodling! A few years ago, I started keeping my favorite doodles in a shoe box. I never thought to share my doodles, as doodling has always been a form of relaxation for me. My journey has been motivated by many others brave enough to share their creativity online. In return for the inspiration that has fueled my journey, I have decided to share my journey.
