| Introduction | Well, I eloped when I was 19 years old and have had the pleasure of finding out, in the past 8 1/2 years, that I married my soulmate. I have a feeling the very Hand of God had something to do with our success and endurance. I have a son who, at times, seems to be a grown man trapped in a seven year old's body. He enjoys talking, talking and talking. He is an absolute joy to parent and has a wonderful sense of humor. I also have a daughter who's 3 years old. She was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in January 2008 and this has totally changed me as a person and as a mom. I won't say it's easy, because it's not, but I've learned the art of selective amnesia and laughing at inappropriate times. It might be stressful, it might be chaotic, it might even be scary, but it's my life and it's what makes me, "me". |
| Interests | I enjoy anything outdoors; hiking, fishing, running, playing with the kids, etc. I like to scrapbook but rarely have the time to indulge myself. I also have a passion for songwriting, writing poetry and playing the piano. |
