Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
Well if you are thirsty then your mouth is dry, causing your to spell words wrong (outloud) so yes, that is exactly why sponges and tongues (i misspelled tongues as I wrote it) are always spelled wrong.
