| Introduction | Born in Phila. PA., I'm a cancer survivor with multiple major health issues including diabetes,asthma, arthritis and pulmonary hypertension. I earned a BA in Journalism from Temple University. During my career I worked as a writer/editor as well as a public relations specialist. I now enjoy doing volunteer work for ACS, ADA and the Oviedo Y. I received a literature grant from United Arts of Central Florida in 2008 and wrote a play titled "Chemonologues." A play reading was held in March 2010 at Theatre Downtown in Orlando. I have written a book titled "High Maintenance... Surviving Cancer at All Costs." I am currently working on the process of preparing the book for publication. |
