| Introduction | I was born in 1934, in Havensville, Kansas, and moved to Colorado after World War II. I tried religion for 20 years and religion told me to do good and be good but gave me no help at all and then I entered into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ when He caused me to be born again by His Spirit in August 1954. I have been serving Him since I was saved in August 1954, and though I have failed Him often He always forgives, helps and encourages and scourges me as needed which is often daily! Recently (2008) I learned the greatest lesson about my relationship with God. I discovered I was allowing others to come between me and the Lord Jesus Christ. I promised Him never to allow that to happen again! Then He gently showed me there was still one person between us and that person was ME! My old nature wants to serve Him my way and He refuses! He only allows me to serve Him when He leads and only blesses as I truly follow Him. |
