| Introduction | I figure these lyrics (in no particular order) describe me well enough: *I’m not a leader. I’m not a left-wing rhetoric mobilizing force of one. But there was a time way back, many years ago in college—don’t laugh—but I thought I was a radical. *In my little town, I grew up believing God keeps his eye on us all. *I don’t know about your brain, but mine is really…bossy. *We might be laughing a bit too loud, but that never hurt no one. *I never made promises lightly-and there have been some that I've broken. *I believe there’s a best of both worlds—mixing old and new. * Well now, I’m no hero, that’s understood. *I wish I was on the N17 (stone walls and the grass is green). *If I have been unkind, I hope that you can just let it go by. *There’s lots of those friendly people, showing me ways to go, and I never want to lose their inspiration. *I am older now; I know the rise and gradual fall of the daily victory. |
