Introduction | I'm currently a Masters student of Public Relations at the University of Westminster, London and this blog is part of my course work. The course has been amazing and Im finally done with my classes...WOOHOO!Thank you Jesus. The high lights of my first semester were learning about PR theories (which I previously had no clue about), writing press releases, producing a newsletter, a blog and learning about the intricacies of campaigning. I come from Imo state, Nigeria originally. I have a BA English and Literature from the University of Benin, Nigeria. I've experienced a fair share of corporate communications. I worked for Equitorial Trust Bank Nigeria as a relationship manager and currently work for HSBC, central london in the UK as a personal banker. The reason I chose to study PR at Masters level is because I've always been intrigued by the way the portrayal or perception of a brand can influence people's reaction to it. I love reading, writing, listening to music and travelling to appreciate different cultures. |
