| Introduction | My name is Ed. I’m 38 years old. I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. I’ve worked my whole life in education and youth-centered non-profit work. I’m still passionate about creating great experiences for young people, but lately that wasn’t enough. I was classically burnt out. So I’m creating adventures and hitting the road a bit to figure out some things. I’ll be running around Southeast Asia for the next few months playing, working and learning about the world and myself. In writing this, I hope to share my experiences with friends – old, new and unknown. |
| Interests | Good wine. Slow barbeque - especially ribs, steaks and whole birds. Playing soccer, coaching soccer, running San Francisco hills, laughing with my team. My boyfriend Christopher, his niece Lauren. Things battered and deep fried. Sour cocktails, cute bartenders with naugthy smiles. My best friend Joe especially when he wheezes when he laughs. Brunch. Farmers markets, artisinal cheeses, old skool butcher shops, the curving shadow between the shoulder and tricep. Pop music and love. Making a new friend. Spending the day wondering what will happen. |
