| Introduction | Yaqub is an ICT expert, a leadership development coach and a politician. He is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), a graduate of the Cisco Systems Networking Academy, with more than 15 years working experience in the Nigerian ICT/Telecoms sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Jos. He has passion for volunteering, community development and public service. He is a certified Competent Communicator (CC) of the Toastmasters International, he is an alumnus of the Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA) and a graduate of the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD) Abuja, Nigeria. In 2019, he was appointed the Personal Assistant to the Deputy Governor of Oyo State. He later served as the caretaker chairman of Oorelope Local Government, Igboho, Oyo State, Southwest Nigeria, between December 2019 and March 2021. He is the founder of SPEAKINFLUENCE AFRICA, a not-for-profit organization passionately committed to leadership development and ethos, creating transformational, confident, and competent individuals and leaders, who will in turn, drive human capacity development in Africa. |
