Introduction	I am the child of parents who straddled the Establishment generation and the hippie generation. My parents were crunchy before the term was coined and I grew up with a sense of green-awareness before going green was trendy. My husband is of a different mindset altogether, being a child of the 1960's but also a military brat. Between the two of us, we've learned to compromise and even agree on how to be aware of the environment in ways that save us money and help us accomplish our long-term goals.
