Introduction | Alex Pacheco is a critically acclaimed Filipino-Canadian filmmaker hailing from our nation’s capital. A graduate of the University of Maryland’s Film program, Alex’s credits include music videos for The_OutCircuit (2003) and Kerosene 454 (1997), the feature script “The Dead Soldier” (2001) and two short films, “in a cell of his own thought” (1993) and “Unfortunate Man” (1999). His films have been reviewed favorably in the Washington Post, screened in New York, California, and Las Vegas, and have been compared to the work of such directors as David Lynch and Luis Buñuel. He has recenty completed his first feature “PRAXIS” (2007) about a young writer who develops a fragmented identity. |
