Introduction	I am 40 years old and have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for 22 years. It has affected the majority of my joints and caused widespread problems resulting in joint destruction. I have both my wrists fused and am now waiting for a bilateral jaw joint replacement on the 23rd Feb 2012 due to the joints collapsing. I have had numerous treatments, injections and surgeries over the years. I will possibly need an elbow replacement in a few years time as well. I live with my wonderful husband who is my rock and my soulmate. We've been together nearly 26 years and it is he who keeps me going through everything. I also have a lovely cocker spaniel who is a great companion and her antics always make me smile.
