| Introduction | Career Pathways is a required 9-week course to provide students with the skills and necessary information in developing a career plan throughout high school and into their future. As part of this course, students will complete the state required Individualized Academic Career Plan. Students will be required to map out both secondary and post secondary career goals. A variety of career activities will be infused into the class that will help students find an appealing career geared to their talents and interests. A variety of career interest assessments and exploration activities will be used as a basis for developing their career plan. This course will also focus on personal development skills and work ethic needed to be successful in a career. Technology will be utilized in all phases of the class. |
