IntroductionScott Shuffitt began his creative ventures in 1992 when he created his own clothing line that led to the inception of the retail store the “Mothership Connection”. Scott then met Will Russell and the two transformed their adoration of the cult-classic “The Big Lebowski” into the international Lebowski Fest and co-authoring “I’m a Lebowski, You’re a Lebowski” in 2007. Ever the Renaissance man, Scott began directing short films in October of 2006. His films “Skate or Die” and “Gimme 12 Steps” have played at numerous national film festivals. Soozie Eastman is a documentary filmmaker /short film producer. During her time at Chapman University completing her MFA in Producing for Television and Film, she returned to her hometown of Louisville to produce/direct “By The Wayside”, a feature length doc about the city’s homeless. The film played very well in Kentucky and on the festival circuit, winning several awards including the Bluegrass Film Festival’s Best Film by a Regional Filmmaker. Soozie has since been producing and directing short films in Los Angeles and was post-production accountant and festival liaison for “Dark Matter” which premiered at the ’07 Sundance Film Festival.
