| Introduction | Crystal V. Rhodes is an author and an award-winning playwright. The author of five published romance suspense novels, her titles include Sin, Sweet Sacrifice, Sinful Intentions, Singing a Song…, Small Sensations and Stillwaters… Rhodes’ comedy fiction novel, Grandmothers, Incorporated, co-written with L. Barnett Evans, was selected as Best Book of the Year by two online websites. The Written Word Magazine named Rhodes as one of the Ten Up and Coming Authors in the Midwest. As a playwright Rhodes is the recipient of the Black Theatre Association Award for Best Original Writing for her stage play, Stoops.
