| Introduction | In early May 2010 our son, Aiden, was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), an aggressive type of muscle cancer at only 5 months old. At the end of summer 2011, Aiden completed his treatment protocol (54-weeks of chemotherapy and 29 days of proton beam radiation). Aiden’s cancer diagnosis was devastating, but after fighting through a fog of despair and anguish, we have found our center. We will NOT let cancer break us. “Iron Aiden” is a fighter; he has proven that time and time again. We are so very proud of our boy and thank him every day for the strength, perspective and purpose he has given us. The love between parent and child is truly precious and we cherish every moment that we have together. Please continue to follow our journey and pray for our sweet boy as well as all of the other pediatric cancer warriors, survivors and angels.
