About me

Introduction	I'm a freelance writer who specializes in penning entertaining, yet enlightening, articles on all things retro, underground, and obscure. The majority of my focus has been directed to covering the rockabilly scene...but I have conducted interviews with (and written pieces on) people from all walks of life, from pro wrestlers to roller derby queens to Rock and Roll Hall of Famers. It's been a tremendous honor. Some of the musicians that I've interviewed over the past few years include Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Wanda Jackson, Stray Cats drummer Slim Jim Phantom, rockabilly guitar virtuoso (and composer for the movie "Carrie 2: The Rage") Danny B. Harvey, Brian Setzer Orchestra upright bassist Johnny "Spazz" Hatton, Buzz Campbell (guitarist for Stray Cats bassman Lee Rocker) and rockabilly songbirds Annita and Kim Lenz. My work has been published in Blue Suede News magazine and Rockabilly magazine, and has been featured on the Atomic Kulture Magazine website. I am also a contributor to Jumpin' from 6 to 6, an extensive roots/rockabilly music website, and a contributing writer for Totally Mi!, a website whose aim is to provide direction and inspiration to those in need.
