Introduction I have dedicated my career to conserve wilderness, bring communities together, and share the experience of wilderness to many. In those places I have been a director of field support and volunteer management for a scientific group in the Temperate Rainforest of British Columbia, a director of wilderness advocacy and inventory in the western deserts of Arizona, a non-profit organizational development trainer for watershed groups in Wisconsin, and a small college environmental science teacher in Minnesota. I manage conservation easements along wild and scenic rivers in Minnesota for the Department of Natural Resources. I am rooted in the Twin Cities region where my wife, son, and I hope to have a hobby farm in the rural Midwest. We hope to find that place in the bluff country of the Mississippi River valley "driftless" area.
