| Introduction | I am a lecturer and a Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation consultant at the Department of Geography and Geology at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Jamaica where I lecture in several courses including Disaster Risk Management. My research interests include Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation, and Sustainable Livelihoods. In addition to my academic life, I enjoy speaking on social issues relating to relationships and marriages and women's health concerns. |
