Throughout her life, not only did she have to struggle with the obstacles came from discrimination and sexism of the society, but she also developed her skills in painting in a seperate-but-equal school and became one of the major post-modern artists of the 20th Century. "Painturism" , the movement she founded in late 60s, has shaken the society's perception of reality and gained momentum with a huge group of appriciators while influencing many renown artists like Andy Warhol. |
