Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
I think this whole question is messed up. Bards are singers, not archers. Or am I missing something really obvious? But... Assuming that this is the kind of bard I'm thinking, all I have to do is stand up in the middle of a big beer hall or something and start singing a ballad about dragons.
