Introduction	I am an inner-city educator and have recently realized that I have a tendency to try to rescue. I spend most of my work and home life taking care of children, animals (all are rescues), and cool old junk that I love to repurpose. The one thing I have been neglecting is me. I find myself so busy rescuing others that I forget to be still and to pay attention to simple blessings and joys in life. This blog is my attempt during year 45 of my life to record at least one blessing, special moment of peace, joyful experience or something similar for each day. These may be in words, photos or graphic images and I am going to let myself off the hook and say that I may post after the date but will try to include something for each day. Let's see how this goes.
