| Introduction | After several years of trying, hoping, praying, and waiting for a baby, my husband and I are finally expecting! As excited as we are, we are also facing several unforeseen complications that put us at high risk. Nothing about our experience has gone as smoothly as we’d like. We always knew pregnancy wasn’t a piece of cake, but we never imagined it would be this difficult. We want to share a bit of our journey here with you, in the hopes that it may help someone else going through a similar situation. Hearing other people’s stories has been a huge comfort and help to us. And of course, we couldn’t do this without the amazing support and prayers from our wonderful family and friends, and our faith in God. |
