| Introduction | I'm a new, gulp, grandmother thanks to my son whom I adore even though he has been quite the challenge raising. His father & I have been divorced for about 5 years though we're very close & he stays very involved with his son & our daughter. For the past 5 years I've struggled with being single & dating again. Love being single, not so hot on dating. Seven months ago my son & his girlfriend added to my turmoil by informing me they were having a baby. Now I'm going through life trying to deal with being single, still having an extremely close relationship with my ex, feeling like I'm 25 & now becoming a grandmother! My daughter graduates high school this year & I was all set to sell the house & move to France with one of my closest friends from childhood who already lives there. We'll see how that goes now that there's a new little one in my life! |
