About me

GenderMale
LocationOrange County, California
IntroductionI am one of the few male Corporate Americans who can do the splits. After spending my limber years as a professional dancer/actor/singer in L.A., I decided that I was too smart (and too injured and too hair-challenged) to do that nonsense forever. In my late-twenties, I followed the call of the cubicle to a ginormous telecom company. The Dockers crowd wasn’t feeling my Bachelor’s in Theatre, so I put on my big-boy pants (NOT Dockers) and got an MBA. I was suddenly able claw my may way to the lower-middle and become a marketing manager. The audition mill was far behind me, and I had a “real job” with the security everybody warned that I’d never have as a performer. Then, after thirteen secure, nine-to-five years, I got laid off. Now I’m a freelancer – which is marketing speak for “unemployed.” (Maybe if I tried dropping into the splits at my next interview, I might get...no, forget it, that can only end in ripped trousers, a groin injury and litigation.) On my way to, in between and during those two careers, I’ve gathered an assortment of work experiences. I wouldn’t dare list them all on my resume, but they are too entertaining to keep to myself.
