| Introduction | Welcome to The Blog! My name is Ms. Moran, and I teach 5th grade Language Arts and Math in Duffy. I also work with small reading groups in grades 3-5. I am so excited about this blog because it will be a great way for all of us to share our love of reading! I am most excited to have a place to talk about one of my favorite things in the world.....BOOKS! I fell in love with reading when I was in the 3rd grade. My 3rd grade teacher would bring us to the carpet after recess every day for a read aloud, and Ms. D. just knew how to pick a great story and bring the characters to life with her funny voices and accents! I think I read just about every Judy Blume book in my school library that year after hearing Superfudge and Double Fudge in class! To this day, sharing a read aloud with my students is one of my favorite parts of the school day! I’m looking forward to learning about some new books from you and I can’t wait to learn more about YOU as we experience this reading blog adventure together! |
