| Introduction | I recently retired after 25 years on the faculty at Missouri Southern State University. In addition to introductory courses in American History and Western Civilization, I taught upper-level courses in 20th Century U.S. History including: The Great Depression, World War II, The Cold War, The Vietnam War, and the Civil Rights Movement. In 2012, I was honored to be named as Missouri Southern's Outstanding Teacher. I live in Carthage, Missouri with my wife of 25 years. I love to read and watch old movies. I am also a dedicated ulrarunner, a competent home brewer, and a proud Purdue Boilermaker. |
