Introduction	Shannon and Mike were introduced to each other in 1999, when they were in college. It wasn't until the fall of 2000 that the two of them started dating. In December 2001, after Shannon graduated, she moved from the Midwest to the East coast to be with Mike. They were married in 2003. In 2009, they welcomed their son, Miles, into the world. In 2012, they became a family of four when Melina was born.
