Introduction | My B.S. Degree in "home Economics" from University of Illinois. Sewn creatively since 60's, been involved sales of textiles since 1974. Worked in the interior design, managed a craft store, sold fabrics from my home, done custom dressmaking and developed my own line of patterns for women in heirloom sewing. 1990 - 2003, owned and operated a retail fabric store: Londa's Sewing Etc. Summer 2003, www.londas-sewing.com Londa's Creative Threads. The 'need' to continue to create unique art-to-wear drives me to asssemble my endless stash of textile treasures into one-of-a-kind jackets from sweatshirts. I call them 'Creative Sweatshirt Jackets' and I have published books and patterns on my jackets. You can find them all at this link: http://www.wearableartsweathshirtpatterns.com. I seek to conduct all my business in a manner that honors my Saviour: Jesus Christ. |
