| Introduction | I am a 27-year old married mother of three. I have struggled with anorexia, bulimia, and self-injury for fourteen years. I am not "recovered." I am not "better." I don't know that I ever will be, at least not all the way. But I've fallen down the rabbit hole and clawed my way back out, and now I'm trying to adjust my blurry eyes to the normal world again. This blog is not a sunshine-and-daisies look at recovery. That's not how it works. Rather, it's my honest account of taking things one day at a time... agonizing as it may be sometimes. As tough as recovery is, the hardest day is still better than the best day of being sick. |
