| Introduction | I currently call Kansas home. I’m here on a job documenting the rebuilding of Greensburg, a town taken out by a category 5 tornado last May. My obsession here, fed daily, is seeking and finding cool things that were stirred up by the crazy Kansan wind. Here i share this endless treasure hunt and my love of speculating, with no authority or knowledge what-so-ever, on my findings and their significance. Whether I’m digging through the ruins of Greensburg or roaming the endless mazes of flea markets, Kansas is a geyser of fascinating discoveries. Please forgive the crude photography; my field camera is an i-phone. With love from the heartland, L.Merians., The Greenhorn Digger. |
