Introduction	I have worked as a nurse since the eighties and would quite like to do something more creative but somethings' got to pay the bills! I was a mod in the 80's and had my 15 minutes of fame when a friend was asked to bring some Mods to Scootering magazine for a special Mod feature for the Jan '86 issue. I ended up being the cover girl! I am using this blog to add things that I find of interest as I go about my daily life, hopefully some may find of interest too! I am using it as a outlet for my frustrated creativity and to also try to motivate me to start and complete projects!
Interests	I have collected vintage since the 80's when I spent my whole time in charity shops. A few years ago, I started selling stuff on ebay and at car boots sales. Then vintage became popular again! I have collected vintage material with the plan of making something new out them. (I have a whole shelving unit full of material awaiting inspiration!) Upcycling, as it is now called. I would love to have a shop, even a pop up one to sell my wares, and did have a market stall on the Rag and Bone market on a Friday for a few weeks earlier in the year, which I really enjoyed.
Favorite Movies	Latest is Cuban Fury Barbarella Grey Gardens The Great Interior Design Challenge May the Best House Wins, series. Poirot with David Suchet, Marple - any of the more recent ones.
Favorite Music	Funk, soul, latin, ska, reggae, jazz, disco, anything that gets me dancing!
