| Introduction | Joel R. McConvey is a Toronto writer and producer who makes things with words, pictures and technology. His journalism, fiction and poetry has appeared in publications such as The Walrus, The Puritan, The National Post, CBC.ca and Paragon, among others. He is one of the creators of The National Parks Project (NPP), a cross-platform exploration of the relationship between landscape and creativity. He won a Gemini for the NPP television series, and various elements of the project have been recognized by the Genies, the Digi Awards and the International Documentary Association. |
