| Introduction | I've been married to Criss, my high school sweetheart, since June of 1999. We have two kids. Silas was born in December of 2005. Autumn was born in December of 2004, moved in with us in March of 2006, and became ours forever in September of 2009. Both kids have ongoing health issues. After many years of believing she had a mitochondrial disorder, DNA testing showed that Autumn has Brain-lung-thyroid Syndrome (with only about 50 other diagnosed cases). Silas has had chronic digestive issues since infancy - resulting in a G-tube placement in August of 2012. I am also a teacher with a passion for helping churches and Christian schools to better meet the needs of individuals with special needs and their families. |
