| Introduction | During the mid 80's I was involved in an RTA and sustained a spinal cord injury (became paraplegic T5/6). I have had to adapt my hobbies accordingly. My garden is my sanctuary. It is shaded on one side by the neighbour's trees, and the far end, by the golf course trees. As these trees grow higher, and overhang my garden, the shadier and drier some areas become, so part of the garden is now more or less woodland planting. My garden is constantly evolving so there is never a dull moment. Cardesque Garden blog shares the trials and triumphs of being a disabled gardener. I strive to keep gardening as long as I am able, and I will share my tips, mistakes and what I have learned along the way. |
