| Introduction | As a family we started this blog so that our family and friends could follow our adventures across Africa -- from Malawi to Kenya to Liberia. We are taking all five of our children Annabelle, Levi, Bess, Vanndel, Ashley, and our new son-in law Cozz back to where the "Chinchens" all started in Africa - Liberia. We wanted them to see the places their father (Paul) grew up, meet the people he loves and experience the culture that helped form a great love for the people of Africa. |

| Favorite movies | Our family just recently saw "Star Trek" and "Man of Steel". We also are enjoying the "Smallville" TV series while we travel. |

| Favorite books | Paul is reading a Mark Bowden non-fiction called "The Finish" Laura and Ashley are reading Francine Rivers Christian Fiction Annabelle is reading a novel on Liberia called "Concealed by the Light" Levi is not reading. He says he's out of school for the summer Vanndel is reading "Magic Tree House" Series Bess is reading "The Other Shepards" Cozz is reading the internet and checking confederation cup scores and the newspaper |
