Introduction	Hello! I live on a beautiful island off the coast of Cape Cod in Massachusetts - Martha's Vineyard. I do most of my knitting on my commute to work everyday- which is a 45 minute boat ride from the island to Woods Hole. I find knitting a great way to pass the time and unwind at the end of the day. I first started knitting in 2003 after reading a magazine article on beginning to knit. Soon after reading the article I made a visit to my local yarn shop and purchased my set of bamboo knitting needles. I really enjoy knitting and being able to share my knit goods with others. Thank you mom, you were a great teacher. In January 2008 I signed myself up for a “Quilt in A Day” class and learned how to sew (again). Since then I seem to have a fabric addiction and just can’t get enough of it! I love sewing new things for my sweet niece Sydney who is now 1 years old. I do my sewing in my home at night/weekends on a 1960’s Singer Featherweight sewing machine that my mother received as a gift from her grandmother (my great-grandmother). How sweet is that!
