| Introduction | As a former daily news reporter and features reporter for a Lehigh Valley newspaper and a current web editor for a medical trade publication, Kristen has had many opportunities to explore social and new media. Some experiences, of course, were more successful than others. Kristen's first foray into multimedia won an honorable mention in the New Media category of the 2008 AAAAI Samter Journalism Awards. Since then, she has been tinkering with new media like podcasts, audio slideshows and sites like Twitter and Facebook. Kristen graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2006, earning a bachelor's degree in Media and Communication. She currently is pursuing her master's degree in English and Publishing at Rosemont College. |
