| Introduction | I have embarked on a journey to start a new life. Most of my life I have dealt with and lost the battle with my weight. I think when your youngest is almost 15 it is time to stop thinking it is pregnancy weight. I am 34 years old and have had 2 mild heart attacks, and survived not 1 but 3 pulmonary embolisms. Now I don't know what are thinking but I am thinking maybe that higher power out there has something in store for me. Something I need to do. I am a wife to a man who has never dealt with a weight issue but has stuck with me even after gaining around 120 pounds since we met. I think he deserves someone who loves themselves so I can show him how much I love him. I am a mom to the 2 most awesome teenagers. Both are active and while most moms worry about drugs, bad grades, etc. I know I don't have to. I worry about them developing a weight issue and going through the hell that I have gone through. So I have created this site to be responsible to my family and my friends to follow through with this decision. |
