Introduction	I left work to stay home with my two boys in 2015, about the same time my parents were cleaning out the crawl space under my childhood home. When they turned up a box of my old pictures, poems, and stories, it reminded me of the Whiskeytown song where an old woman's secret life is discovered "in a box labeled 'Tinsel And Lights'". I decided it was time to revisit writing while I still had stories to tell. Since then, this blog has been a stay-at-home side project in rediscovering old hobbies through reflection on motherhood and family. These days, you can find me washing dishes, checking for lice, or looking for other people's shoes.
