Introduction	My blog began as a way for me to keep our extended family up to date on what was going on with our children. As time has passed, it has really evolved into our family journal. I never want to forget a minute of what it has been like to be their mother. I never want my children to doubt that they were valued, loved, wanted. Just the other day, Lauren was upset and claimed that we "hated" her. I sat her down and had her read a post that I had just written about her the day before. After reading it, her attitude changed and she could feel our love for her. My blog is so much more than an update for family, but a record of my children's lives, the small moments that make me laugh, the large moments that change us. I've discovered that I have a talent for writing, and that it is something I truly enjoy doing. Life with four children provides me with so many moments of inspiration!

You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?

Actually, a little known fact about me? I can't whistle. Yes, Lauren, who is 8 makes fun of me because I can't whistle. Do I sing in the shower? Only if the baby is crying on the outside of the shower and I am trying to finish shaving my legs. Singing makes him happy.
