Introduction	I was born in this Bible Belt of the United States in 1960 and reared here in a very conservative Christian family. My environment gave a definite shape to the person I am, and even though I like to think I have matured over the years and expanded on my rearing, I can't deny the influence my youth has had and still has on me. I can't honestly say I know where I'm going in this journey of life, but I definitely know where I've been. I like to think and I like to talk and write about my thoughts. Some folks find my thoughts entertaining and sometimes even thought-provoking. I hope so. But I like to blog because it gives me an outlet. I enjoy the friends I have made through my blogging. Friends are great and add richness to life. In that sense, even though my blogging is a not-for-profit endeavor, it has made me a rich man indeed.
